Richard Hermida is Head of ATE Underwriting and is responsible for the smooth running of the After the Event Underwriting Department. With a background in running multi-skilled customer facing & B2B teams in blue chip organisations, Richard is expert in meeting the exacting requirements of our clients.

Richard joined FirstAssist in 2008 from Elite Incident Management, where he was National Sales Manager and previously Head of Operations. Richard began his career at Lloyds TSB in 1994 and held various roles there including Team Leader and Call Centre Manager before moving to Legal and General and then onto Elite.
