Practice area of expertise

Matt has a wealth of underwriting experience and deals mainly with our complex/high-value cases in a variety of areas from; Commercial/Civil Contracts, Clinical and Professional Negligence, Defamation, Catastrophic Injury/Disease, Contentious Wills and Probate and Intellectual Property. Matt also handles insolvency cases, along with two other members of the ATE team.

Career to date

• Joined FirstAssist BTE team in 2002 as a Negotiator with subsequent promotion to Senior Negotiator.
• Joined FirstAssist ATE team in 2005 and became a Senior Underwriter in 2007.
